Anant Chaturdashi:

Anant Chaturdashi is the festival which is celebrated on the day of fourteenth of the bright fortnight of the month of Bhadrapad of Hindu calendar. This is the festival which is celebrated to worship lord Anant a universal form or an incarnation of lord Vishnu. This is the last day of Ganesotsava festival of India. This festival observed each year after 10th or 11th days of Ganesh Chatrurthi.

Ganesh Chaturthi is the day when people from Hindu religion brought an idol of Lord Ganesha to temples and their houses for worship them. And on the day of Anant Chaturdashi they are immersed it to the water of lake or oceans. During that time observed a ritual and religious fast too for making happy to lord Vishnu and Ganesha for their peace, prosperity and good or well fortunate life.

Anant Chaturdashi falls each of the years on fourteenth day of bright fortnight of month of Bhadrapad.  This will be the last day of Ganeshotsav in India.
