Baisakhi FESTIVAL is biggest festival of Sikh community. Baisakhi is also known as ‘Vaisakhi’ because, It falls in the Hindi month ‘Vaisakh’. This festival marks the beginning of the Hindu solar new year and the ripening of the Rabi harvest. This festival is more importance in Sikh religion because, The khalsa panth was founded on this day by Guru Gobind Singh in 1699 and who was the tenth Sikh Guru of Sikh Community.

It is celebrated in North India, specially in Punjab and Haryana and all throughout the world where there is a significant Sikh population.
Baisakhi is Traditional, Religious and specially harvest festival which celebrated on the thirteenth day of April each year and, It is one of the most auspicious festival to celebrated by people’s of Sikh community.

The major activities of this occasion are organized in Gurdwaras.
During this festival all people wear new colour full clothes & traditional jewellery and on this occasion baisakhi organised Bhangra dance by men, It is very famous dance in all over the world. Women’s are celebrated with dance specially the Gidda dance. the fair of Baisakhi is also organised on this occasion. The people of Sikh celebrated this festival of baisakhi with great enthusiasm and exuberance.
