A new sari is a must for the first Karwa Chauth of a girl. One thing to be taken care of is that the sari reaches the girl’s in-laws home, where the girl is staying, before the evening. The sari is given to the mother-in-law. Karwa Chauth is an occasion that encourages people to meet and mix with friends and family, exchange gifts and contribute to homemade food. Karva Chauth is one of the major festivals for married women belong to Hindu religion. So married women observe fasts for their husband safety. There is another story behind this celebration of Karva Chauth some of the people believed this festival observe for Wheat.
