Thai Pusam Singapore

Thai Pusam is very famous and intresting festival that is specially celebrated throughout Malaysia and Singapore. This festival dedicated to lord Subrahmanya also known as Lord Murugan. Devotees specially offer milk pots to lord Subrahmanyam. All in the city is major attractions of this festival. People’s participate in large numbers and enjoy this festival.

The devotees will then carry heavy weights and decorated structures using different pierced parts of their bodies. some people attach large metal frames to their bodies using an horrific, these structures are people also known as kavadis. All these mutilations are done in honor of the Lord Maruga. Devotees can choose to honor the Lord for having taken care of their health throughout the year.
