Holika Dahan is a one of the major part of Hindu religious festivals and occasion. Holika Dahan is the day of celebration which comes in the month of Falgun Purnima. This is the festival which celebrated during the festival time Holi. Holi is a colorful festival of India and has an importance in this Hindu Country of the world. Holika Dahan is a fire burning occasion which is a sign of the great love of lord Krishna and Radha.
There is another myth about this ritual festival of India. It is a story of Bhagt Prahlad the son of demon Hrinyakashyapa and Holika who was the sister of Hrinyakashyapa. This is the day which is a symbol of a won of Prahlad against the demon and his father Hrinyakashyapa and Holika.
It is a sign of a victory of righteousness over evils. People organize a program of Holika Dahan to lighted fire on a place. They come on the place by bringing waste furniture, cloths and other wooden logs to burn the fire. They celebrate the day as a happiest moment of life because it is the day when lord destroyed both of the demons to eliminate their dreadful activities.
