Shani Amavasya is a festival of lord Shani. Shani Amavasya observes on the day of no moon on Shanivar or Saturday according to Hindu calendar. Most of the people believed that lord Shani is a lord of inauspicious things. So people believed that it is an inauspicious day of Shani Amavasya.
