Finland Christmas Holidays Tradition:

Finland’s people starts to celebrate Christmas session or summer vacation from first Sunday if December. On 13 December Saint Lucia is celebrated in every city and town of the country. Fir tree is cut down and bring to home. Tree is decorated by apples, paper flags, cotton, tinsel and sheaf of grains, seeds and nuts are served for wild birds. People take dinner after seeing star in sky. People take holy steam bath before any activity is started on Christmas.

Christmas dishes at Finland are very delicious. Main traditional dish boiled codfish is served. Dinner is followed by snowy white and fluffy, roast suckling pig and vegetables. Allspice, boiled potatoes and cream sauce is taken as supported dishes. Children go to bed just after dinner and younger get busy with chat with cup of coffee. Fire cracking at midnight completes the celebration of Christmas.
