Dussehara is the festival comes before twenty days of Diwali. It is the day which is known as a day of victory of Lord Rama a great Indian hero of Treta yug over devil Rawan. Dussehara festival celebrated at last day of Navratra. Dussehara is celebrating as a victory of good over evil. Dussehara is a most popular and biggest festival of Nepal celebrated by Hindus.

Importance of Dussehara and Diwali:

Dussehara festival is also called as the name of Vijayadashami. It celebrated in the month of ashwin/kartika according to Hindu calendar. Dussehara is also signify the as victory of Goddess Durga over buffalo demon Mahisasur. Dussehara is a festival celebrated in our country of India at a same time that is tenth day of Navratra.

On this day people burn deities of Rawana with his son Meghnath and his brother Kumbhkaran. Consequently, Diwali is a festival comes after twenty day of dussehara. Diwali is a festival of lights and victory over darkness. It is also called as a name of Deepawali. Diwali is a five day occasion celebrated in all around the country. On this day Lord Rama return back to Ayodhaya with his wife Sita and brother Laxman after killing Rawan. On this occasion people worship goddess Laxmi for their prosperity and peace.

Both festival of Dussehara and Diwali are significant festival of India. Both organized in the month of kartika. Diwali is also a festival celebrated as a celebration of New Year. Third day of the festival

is an important day of Diwali celebrated as Laxmi Pooja and it is the last day of Hindu calendar.
