Janmashtami Festival is the birth day of lord krishna. It is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It celebration specialty celebrate in mathura at uttar pradesh, It is the birth place of lord krishna. Janmashtami festival come in the month of august-September. The first importance of Janmashtami is to observe dharma and established by shri Krishna.

There is a heavy rush in the market. Sweets shop and toys shops are specially decorated. People make purchases, they purchases sweets and toys for their children.

People can observe fast, Several people observe waterless fast on this day. It is believed that lord Krishna has taken birth in the mid night of janmashtami so this day takes an important place in the Indian culture. Many people goes to temple of lord Krishna they enjoy with sung & dance.

At midnight, when Lord Krishna was believed to have taken birth, an ‘aarti’ is performed and people break their fasts by feasting on sweets and specially ‘Makhan’ and ‘Mishri’

Ladies prepare special food, sweets and specially ‘Makkhan’ butter and ‘Mishri’ on their home and they offer to ‘Lord Krishna’ on this day. It is said that lord krishna likes milk product makhan, butter and mishri he like very much so this day people served makhan, butter and mishri in children.
