Maghi Festival is very popular and famous festival of Sikh community people. Maghi is also known as Makara Sankranti. This festival held in the month 13 January each year Because this festival is celebrated in the first day of the Hindi month of Magh so people known as maghi festival. In early in the morning many people goes out to take a dip in holly river, because it is most auspicious for devotees.

The major activities organised in the gurudwra. several people’s make offering in gurdwara on this occasion of maghi. Many religion societies are distributed sweets among the children and people on this occasion. Muktsar (Punjab), where big fairs are organized and pilgrims takes a holy dip in river.
