Meru Trayodashi of Jain Community -

Meru Trayodashi is a very famous and popular festival according to the Jainism followers or Jain community. Meru Trayodashi festival comes on thirteen day of the month of magshir. on this day the first Tirthankar of the Jain religious Rishabha Dev got Nirvana on the Ashtapad mountain. So Meru Trayodashi is the day of his Nirvan Kalyanaka. people celebrated this Meru Trayodashi festival with joy and happiness.

In this way we can make our life sweet by celebrating the religious festivals. the Meru Trayodashi is celebrated as under –

  • Meru Trayodashi is celebrated in the remembrance of Pingal Kumar.
  • He has to make five Merus and do Jap with the Pad of “Aum Rhim Shrim Adinath Parangataya Namh, with twenty navakarvalis.
