Rakshabandhan Pooja Thali Preparing :

Rakhi is a very popular ritual ceremony of Indians. It is a famous festive moments of Hindu religion. But some of Muslims and Sikhs people also celebrates this festival of Rakshabandhan. Rakshabandhan is another famous name of Rakhi. It literally means a bond of protection.

During this festival a sisters tied a thread of rakhi on wrist of brothers with great affection and love. Brother gives good wishes, blesses and gifts to sister for good fortune and make promise to help her in life time circumstances weather good or bad. At the time of ‘Subh Muharat’ on Rakshabandhan day a sister is prays for her brother with puja thali. Puja thali is very similar to other worship thali of Hindu deities.

During modern time there different kind of puja thali are available with various patterns. Various metal made puja thali can be bought from local market during this rakhi festival. silver, brass and common steel puja thali are available. During preparation of a Pooja thali women have to collect various objects like rakhi threads, coconut, kumkum for tilak, sweets and diyas etc. first of all sisters prays to their deity at homes and then they start this rakhi ritual. They tide a rakhi thread to brothers. Usually, brothers gives good wishes and gifts to their sisters with a lot of love.
