India is a land of festival and Raksha Bandhan is important in one of them. Many people say raksha bandhan as ‘Rakhi’. the raksha bandhan or rakhi is a festival of brothers and sisters. this rakhi festival is famous specially in India because this is the festival of brother and sister. brother give saree or gifts etc. to sisters, they also give best wishes. brothers also swears that they will protect her (sister) in any bad time in her life.
Married women come to there parents home and wishes for there health and wealth. Sisters tie the rakhi on their brother right wrist and make a tilak or tika on the brother’s forehead.
Many sisters send rakhi to there brother by post or courier etc. some height tech sisters are also sending rakhee by emails or ecards by various websites over the Internet. This festival revealed love between brother and sister.
