Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a festival of brothers and sisters. it is a very holy festival which shows us emotions like unity and protection between brother and sisters. sisters tied a saffron colored thread “rakhi” on wrist of brothers, and then brother give gifts, Saree, dry fruits to sisters.

Rakshabandhan is not new invention, but this is very old tradition of this country which explains possibility of unconditional love between human being in today’s world. It is not necessary that a girl should celebrate this day his own brother only; she can also enjoy it with cousins and with a boy whom she believes as her own though he is not in any relation with her and they both get bound by heart.
