Shri Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti is the celebration of birth day of a great holistic teacher of Indian religion. Shri Adi Shankaracharya was the great saint of India who had an honor of Jagadguru. He was the saint who experienced of ‘Advaita Vedanta’ and great philosophy of ‘Vedic Dharma’.

Shankaracharya had born as a child of poor Nambudiri Brahmin couple in the Kaladi village of the Kerala. His father died early during their life. Shankaracharya has abstinent features of religious thoughts from the beginning and he wanted to put to use all of the knowledge he got all of the knowledge for the better of the society.
He was the only child of this couple and his mother refused to accept her son becoming a preacher for whole life. It took great influence on Shankaracharya to victory over her. He promised to her mother for attending on her final hours of life. He was became the disciple of a great and famous Guru Govinda Bhagavatpada as a spiritual teacher who gave some spiritual thoughts for his destination.
