Sita Navami is the most celebrated festival or important day for marred women in all over the India especially in the northern parts of India. This is the celebration conducted as on the ninth day of the Shukla Paksha in the month of
Vaishakha according to the Hindu calendar in the country of India.
This is the day which is most popular among married women. On that day those women worship lord Rama and his wife Sita Devi. Sita was the wife of lord Rama and the daughter of king Janak so she also known as the name of Janaki Devi. She spent her whole life to follow according the rules and aspects of life of lord Rama. He felt all of the critical problems which were felt by the lord Rama. Sita Navami celebrated with a great joy and tremendous feelings of celebration among the married women.
In the northern parts like Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Delhi etc. married women celebrated this day as the important day of the year. They all worship for a long life or age of their husband on that day. They also engage with donation of cloths and fed meals to poor.
