Jalaram jayanti is the birth day of a famous and most known saint of Gujarat state of India. His full name is Jalaram Bapa and he had born as of 14th of November, 1799 or 1856 at a place of Virpur district of Gujarat. Each of year Jalaram jayanti celebrated on seventh day of Kartik moth of Hindu calendar. In year of 2011 it will be celebrate as on the date of 2nd of November. His father name was Pradhan Thakkar and mother name was Rajbai Thakkar.

Jalaram Bapa was the great devotee of lord Rama. His wife name was Virbaima. Jalaram from starting of his young life not followed his father business and uncle business. He was believed to spend his lots of time with a chorus of Saints and Pilgrims. His wife was agreeing to visit with him at holy places like Kashi, Haridwar, Ayodhya, Badrinath etc.

Celebration of Jalaram Jayanti :

Each of the years there is most of devotee of saint Jalaram celebrate Jalaram Jayanti in various corners of India. They on this time organize various devotional singing and dancing programs. They also offered sweets as Prasad to this deity of Jalaram. They also distribute this Prasad among people during Jalaram Jayanti in the country.
