This festival is organized by Odissi Guru Gangadhar Pradhan’s Odisha Dance Academy in collaboration with Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre(Kolkata). Konark Natya Mandap in Konark is the venue for this grand event. It is a festival of joy with a blend of classical music and dance. This Konark Dance Festival is celebrated to honor the Sun Temple. The festival features various forms of dances such as Bharatnatyam Dance, Manipuri Dance, Kathak Dance, Chau Dance and many more.

Konark Dance Festival has served as a platform for several classical dancers and musicians who are today well-known throughout the world. This festival is being organized since past 19 years and has gained world recognition and success.
