Nag Panchami In India

Nag Panchami or naga panchami is the festival which is popularly being
celebrated in all over the India as snake festival. the snake takes an important place in many religious things.

On the day of nag panchami lord Krishna got victory on the kaliya naag
so this is become more important for the Hindu peoples. people can
decorate the temple of lord Shiva on this day and celebrate with a grate joy and happiness. a special pooja also been held. Many devotees goes to different temples and get blessings, well wishes for them and their family on this day of nag panchami. Many women can offer milk to the snakes and gather around to some special pooja.

The snakes are worshiped from a long time by many peoples because of
their natural fear. the people search for snake holes around the village where snakes are likely to be found. they offer milk to the snake on this day.
