People clean their houses and decorate it with flower and other items. all family member wear new cloth. peoples looks very happy on the day of pongal festival. On this day all the women’s make rangoli on their house and at temples also. They specially make rangoli on front of their houses. On this day women pray for their brother long life and prosperity.
