The beginning of this celebration was Brahma, the creator God, who first conducted this festival to Sri Balaji at Tripati. This Utsavam was known by his name as “Brahmotsavam” and it means “Brahma’s Utsavam.” In Tirumala, Brahmotsavam is celebrated in the month of October.
