Celebrating Buddhist Vesak Festival :
After the long meditation, finally Buddha found truth of mankind’s life and he got enlightenment. Lord Buddha arranged his first sermon with his five associates. Vesak day is a spiritual and a holy day for Buddhist people. Vesak is also known as a Buddha’s birthday. Basically, vesak is celebrated in the recall of Buddha’s birth, clarification and his death. Vesak day is a symbol of happiness and deliberation.
In India vesak is known as a ‘Vesak Purnima’. In India vesak is a celebrated like a great festival. On this occasion people decorates houses and streets. All area has a tremendous lighting. Vesak day is celebrated with a great excitement and enthusiasm by the Buddhist people. On vesak day people goes to local temples.
They worshipped lord Buddha for his blessing and they committed not to do anything wrong or for selfish. People offers flowers, incense and lights in the Buddha’s temple. On the day of vesak people must be do efforts to bring cheerfulness to the unlucky like handicapped persons, sick men and aged people. On this occasion people must be determine to follow the four Aryan truths of life given by Lord Buddha.
