Vinayak Chturthi is well known festival of Hindu people.. This is very big festival celebrated annually in India. This festival dedicated to lord Vinayak and celebrated as birth day of lord Vinayak. The festival remains for ten days, ending on Anant Chaturdashi. During this festival people observe special Pooja and Archana.
Vinayak Chturthi Pooja :
Vinayak, the elephant headed son of lord Shiva and Parvati. Lord Vinayak is widely worshipped as the supreme god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. The festival begins from installation of image of lord Ganesha in homes and public places and colorfully decorated then every day devotees perform Pooja and Aarti. Devotees offer Modaks (Laddu Sweets) to lord Vinayak and Distributed sweets among children.
Vinayaka Chaturthi or ganesha Chaturthi is one of the most festival of lord Vinayak, the god of wisdom and prosperity, whose vehicle is the Mooshak or rat and who loves Modak (Indian laddu). Lord Vinayak, is remembered before the beginning of any auspicious work by the Hindu people.
