The World Laughter Day came into extension in 1998. The first World Laughter Day gathering took place in Mumbai that time. This world laughter day was formed in 1998 by Dr. Madan Kataria. He is the founder of the worldwide Laughter Yoga movement.
World Laughter Day:
The celebration of World Laughter Day is a positive sign for world peace and is planned to build up a global awareness of
brotherhood and friendship through laughter. The status has grown exponentially of the Laughter Yoga movement. World Laughter Day is counting over 6000 Laughter Clubs in more than 65 countries. World Laughter Day objectives are to promote the world peace through laughter. By doing this yoga you can feel like happiness, warmth, tolerance, forgiveness and love.
Twelve thousand members from local and international laughter clubs joined together in an extra-large laughter session. People face huge stress and are at war with themselves. Laughter is a worldwide language which has the possible to join people without religion. It establishes a common link between various religions and creates a new world order. It is a non-religious, non-cultural and non profit organization dedicated to generate good health, joy and world peace through laughter. This idea has changed the lives of hundreds and thousands of people around the world.
“HAPPY DEMIC” was the largest ever meeting that laughed and bonded together and the event went into the Guinness Book of World records. Dr. Madan Kataria said these lines “When you laugh, you change and when you change the whole world changes around you.”
