Poornima. Guru Poornima is one of the India’s most holy festivals, and celebrated on the full moon day of Ashadh month according to Hindu calendar.

This is a day dedicated to guru or a teacher. Guru Poornima comes in month of July – August. This day is being more important for people because Sri Veda Vyasa was born on this day. so it is also known as the name of Vyasa Poornima. He concluded the making of the four Vedas of Hindu religion and he had also written all of eighteen forms of Purans In Hindu Religion on auspicious day of Guru Poornima.

Guru Poornima is a day which is celebrated in dedication or honor of our teachers of all type may be holy teacher or may be teacher who helps to be educated. A factual Guru is one who enjoys ultimate happiness. Therefore a true Guru is essential to make us appreciate the shapeless and quality less spirituality. In Hindu religion there is a saying according to holy books as follows which clears the importance of Guru for any person.

“Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu Guru Devo Maheswara;

Gurur Sakshat Para Brahma Thasmai Sri Gurave Namaha

So Guru Poornima is a grate day for priest and students to worship their guru and get blessings for their successful Future.

This year Guru Poornima festival will be celebrated with great pleasure because it’s significant for Hindu religion. This will be day to worship our guru (The Teacher) with our god because Guru is like God.
