Makar Sankranti Kite Flying Festival :
On the day of 14th of January the sun enters the Capricorn sign. This is the day on that the sun begin to entering the Uttarayan. Makar Sankranti is one of the most famous and important festival of India. Hence, it is called as various
names in different corners of India. At several places it is eminent as Makar Sankranti and in some regions as Lohri. In few places of nation, this festival is celebrated for three days. It is also celebrated as Pongal in the state of Tamil Nadu. Makar Sankranti is a sign of beginning of New Year and it is the moment of joyous after winter season. It is celebrated as the starting of spring season which is the sign of harvesting. People from different parts of India celebrated this festival as their folk culture and traditions.
