Late Chaudhary Charan Singh the Leader of Indian Farmers:

Charan Singh’s ancestor was the famous leader of the Indian revolution of 1857. Charan Singh was born on 23 December 1902 in the village of Noorpur in Uttar Pradesh. He was a good student and received a Masters of Arts degree and Law degree from Agra University.

Choudhary Charan Singh was the fifth Prime Minister of India helping from July 28, 1979 to January 14, 1980. Charan Singh was born into a Jat family. Charan Singh entered politics as part of independence movement of India. Charan Singh started preparation as a Civil Lawyer at Ghaziabad in 1928. Choudhary Charan Singh resigned and elections were held six months later.

He continued to guide the Lok Dal in disagreement till his death in 1987. Charan Singh fought for the poor Indian Farmers, and this good work had made him so famous in Uttar Pradesh. Charan Singh headed the Janta Party government for about six months.

Rich tributes will be paid to former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh on his death anniversary at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University. He was a leader of Indian farmers and he worked for the poor, the oppressed, farmers and villagers throughout his life. The chief minister further complete unity with the farmers of Uttar Pradesh saying his government was serious in resolving their plight.
