This rakhi festival is also a sign to make a strengthen relationship between brother and sister. Rakshabandhan festival is celebrated every year on full moon day of Shrawan month  according to hindu calendar. celebration of rakhi was started before a long time period from actual Rakhi day. Hindu people makes preparations to celebrate it from before some weeks.

Markets are decorated with flowers and lights. Seller of fancy items and rakhi decorates there  shops with various patterns of rakhi. Some shopkeepers decorates gifts items also. Sweets are decorated with attractive lights at shops. During rakhi time sisters goes to buy various things related to rakhee. They buy colorful and various patterns of Rakhi. they buy gifts for their brothers. Brothers also make themselves prepare for this festival of love. They also buy gifts and other items for their sisters.

On Rakshabandhan day people prepare themselves with early bath. They clean their house and decorate for worship to their deities. They wear colorful new adornments. They goes to market and buy sweets and rakhis.  (more…)

Rakhi Celebration With Bhaiya Bhabhi :

Rakhi or Rakshabandhan is one of most celebrated and one of the most beautiful festivals of pure relationship between brother and sister. It is not only famous in Hindu families but also much celebrated among people from different religions. Rakhi is beyond distance or religion. A sister or brother can show their love towards their brother or sister with this festival. It is a bond of love and charm of relationship.

Rakshabandhan is a festival which strengthens love and affection of brother and sister. In this festival a sister bind a strip or rakhi on her brother’s wrist with his good blessing and brother also promises to her for her protection in various circumstances in life. According to Indian tradition a sister not only bind a rakhi on her brother’s wrist but also can on wrist of her bhabhi (sister-in-law) to show her love for this couple.

In market different kind of rakhi pairs available for both bhaiya and bhabhi. Jewel rakhi, pearl rakhi, ethnic rakhi, handicraft rakhi, zari rakhi are most famous among people. On Rakshabandhan day a sister can praise both her bhaiya and bhabhi. It called bhaiya bhabhi rakhi. Bhaiya and Bhabhi also give various gifts for their sister.
